4th EUROPAEDIATRICS-2009

3 – 6 July, 2009 in Moscow for the first time in the Russian state history 4th European Congress of paediatricians – EUROPAEDIATRICS-2009 took place. Over 3550 leading scientists, doctors, organizers of children's public health services from Russia and the countries of Europe took part in Congress work. Besides directly European experts, representatives of the American Academy of pediatricians, professional associations of paediatricians from China, India and the countries of Latin America participated in the Congress for the first time. more

Visit Chairwoman of Committee of State Duma of R.F. on health protection O.G. Borzova and the delegation of American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) to Scientific Center of children health of RAMS
On the 26th of May 2008 Scientific Center of children health of RAMS headed by academician of RAMS A.A. Baranov received Chairwoman of Committee of State Duma of R.F. on health protection O.G. Borzova and the delegation of American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) under the leadership of professor Jay E. Berkelhamer, Past President of AAP. The parties exchanged the experience of organization of the system of medical care to children in Russia and America. Our american colleagues were greatly impressed by the fact that the basics of protection of mothers and children in Russia were formed beginning from the 19th century. The children doctors of USA focus now on the same principles of organization of medical care to children. O.G. Borzova and doctors of Scientific Center of children health of RAMS were pleased to share their knowledge. more

The 12th Congress of pediatricians of Russia “Actual problems of pediatrics”.

XII Congress of pediatricians of Russia took place in Moscow in February 19-22, 2008. More than 2800 doctors, scientists, organizers of public health services from all subjects of the Russian Federation, and also from the countries of near and far abroad took part in the work of the Congress. more

Alexander BARANOV became Vice President of the EPA/UNEPSA.

Alexander BARANOV became Vice President of the EPA|UNEPSA as the results of the elections of the Executive Committee of EPA|UNEPSA that were held in Athens, Greece on August 28th, 2007.
Also, in this Executive Committee meeting it was decided that Moscow, Russia will host the EUROPAEDIATRICS 2009 meeting and A.Baranov was elected as the Congress President. more www.unepsa.org

The 11th Congress of pediatricians of Russia “Topical problems of pediatrics”.

The 11th Congress of pediatricians of Russia took place in Moscow on 5-8 February 2007. More than 2600 pediatricians, scientists, organizers of health care from all subjects of The Russian Federation as well as from the countries of far and near abroad participated in the activity of The Congress. more

	In the 6th of October 2006 in the Kremlin President of Russia presented Director of Scientific Centre of children’s health of Russian Academy of medical science, Chairman of Executive committee of Union of pediatricians of Russia academician of Russian Academy of medical science A.A. Baranov with the award- order “ For service to fatherland” 4 th degree- “ for great contribution to the development of medical science, health protection and mane years of conscientious activity”. Congratulations!

On the XVI Session of General meeting of RAMS (27.2-1.03.2006) for the first time in the whole history of Academy pediatrician is elected the member of Presidium of RAMS academician RAMS, Chairman of Executive committee of Union of pediatricians of Russia, Director of Scientific Centre of children’s health of RAMS A.A. Baranov

On the 10th of November 2005 Director of Scientific Centre of children’s health of RAMS academician RAMS A.A. Baranov and academician RAMS M. Ya. Studenikin were awarded with Lomonosov order for great personal contribution to development of pediatrics and service of children’s health protection.
