I would like to thank you very much for the invitation and the possibility to speak about paediatric clinical trials from the EMEA perspective. The session on paediatric pharmacology also was well attended, considering the fact, that this traditionally is a "difficult" topic having to compete with all the other interesting clinical presentations.
I was very impressed by your congress, the organisation and also the great interest especially of the Russion colleagues. I had many very interesting discussions with colleagues from Russia, but also from all over the world. Of course I also admired the opening ceremony including the speech by your President which underlined the important role of paediaitrcians and paediatrics, your city and I was able to see at least some of the amazing cultural highlights.
In all it was a huge professional and personal experience, thanks to you and your whole team!

3 – 6 July, 2009 in Moscow for the first time in the Russian state history 4th European Congress of paediatricians – EUROPAEDIATRICS-2009 will pass.
Over 3000 leading scientists, doctors, organizers of children's public health services from Russia and the countries of Europe will take part in Congress work.
Besides directly European experts, representatives of the American Academy of pediatricians, professional associations of paediatricians from China, India and the countries of Latin America will participate in the Congress for the first time.
Social events of the Congress (Opening ceremony, Gala-dinner etc.) will be held in the most famous historical and cultural places (“Manezh”, Moscow International Performing Art Center etc.).
The scientific part of the Congress will pass in the World Trade Centre.
During the European Congress of paediatricians the International medical exhibition of the newest medical equipment, medicines, means of hygiene, children's nutrition of leading foreign and home producers will be opened.
The phrase offered by the Russian paediatricians – «East and West, North and South: balanced paediatric care in Europe” became the motto of Moscow Congress EUROPAEDIATRICS-2009.

The information for the companies participating in the Congress with the satellite symposiums: if you invite the lecturer for the speech at your symposium, which has been earlier invited by scientific committee for the participation in the basic scientific program of the Congress, it is necessary for you to transfer the fee (2 000 Euros) to the organizing committee for each lecturer.
