Aims and purpose

Committies

The highest leading body of the Union of Pediatricians of Russia (Union) is the Conference summoned by the Executive Committee not less than once in 4 years. The Conference is entitled to consider all the matters connected with the activity of the Union. During the period between Executive Committee Conferences Executive Committee (Committee) is the leading constantly acting body of the Union. It realized the rights of juridical person on the behalf of the Union and fulfils its duties.

Main directions of the activity of Chairman of the Committee:

• Organization of the current activity of the Union;
• Coordination of the activity of deputy-chairman , members of Committee and Secretariat of the Union;
• Representation of Union in different organizations and institutions both in Russia and abroad etc.

Deputy-chairman of Executive Committee of Union of Pediatricians of Russia professor N.N.Vaganov

Main directions of the activity of Deputy-Chairman of the Committee:

• Organization of the current activity of the Union;
• Coordination of the activity of members of Committee of the Union
• Realization by one of the Deputies under the decision of Committee of functions of Chairman of the Union during his absence

Executive secretary of Union of pediatricians of Russia-Candidate of medical science (Md) O.V. Komarova

Main directions of the activity of Executive secretary of the Union:

• Organization of scientific cooperation with foreign countries, CIS countries including in the fields of neonatology, allergology, pulmanology, hepatology, chronobiology, vaccine prophylaxis, membranology, influence of the environment on children’s health, etc;
• Participation in forums, conferences , congresses of pediatricians of the Russian Federation;
• Realization of charity activity together with foreign companies on supplying medical institutions with food, articles of care, toys, medicine.

Press-secretary of Union of pediatricians of Russia- Candidate of medical science (Md) E.V. Antonova

Main directions of the activity of Press-secretary of the Union:

1. Informational provision of the site of the Union:

• Preparation of the main information for the site;
• Establishing Internet contacts with interested people, organizations, firms.

2. Contacts with mass-media:

• Writing of press-release for the representatives of mass-media and surveys in journals on results of Conferences and Congresses held by Union.

3. Working out of new direction in the activity of Union on creation of educational video-manual for parents and doctors.


Secretariat of the Union is executive commanding body. It’s headed by Executive Secretary, employed on the contract basis.
Secretariat works according to Regulations, approved by the Executive Committee.
The Conference of the Union establishes the quantity of members of the Committee.

The Executive Committee’s forms of reference:

• Organization of implementation of the Conference’s and Congress’s resolutions;
• Solution of Union’s current tasks;
• Definition and approved of the staff’s structure and the budget of the Union;
• Organization and realization of various conferences, symposia and other events;
• Accession and expulsion of members of the Union;
• Approval of the Regulation for the members of the Union;
• Formation of provisional and permanent commissions out of the Union’s members for solution of the Union’s current tasks and approval of their statute;
• Coordination of the activity of the Union’s structural departments, approval of Regulation on representations.

On basic directions of activity in the Union of pediatricians of Russia the following Commissions are formed:

• Contacts with regions.
• Informational-educational activity.
• Organization of Congresses and publishing activity.
• Educational programs and professional training.
• Scientific programs.
• International cooperation.

The Union of pediatricians consists of the regional departments, members of which share and implement aims and tasks stipulated in the Charter of the Union.

Regional departments are valid due to the Charter of the Union and are able to function based by own Charter if it’s no contradict to the Charter of the Union

• • The departments of the Union are formed under the decision of the Executive Committee of the Union and the decision of the Meeting of department’s members residing on the territory of the region
• • The highest leading body of the regional department, acting in accordance with the Charter of the Union, is the meeting of the department’s members summoned by the Chair man once a year. The competence of the meeting of the department covers consideration of any matter: including adoption of Charter of the department, election of the leading and control bodies of the department for 3 years, election of the Chairman of the department for the same period of time and approval of their reports
• • The Chairman of the department fulfills direction of the activity of the department in the period between Meetings.

The Union of pediatricians of Russia accepts for consideration offers on joint activity and cooperation from interested persons, organizations and firms in the field of scientific cooperation, creation of educational manuals (film on video cassettes and CDs), etc Address to: orgkomitet@nczd.ru
